My goal in life is to treat the normies with even more disrespect and disdain than how the treat this 4chan poster. Also gg to you thinking that you can be safe by following some normie rules. This is not how it works. Even normies don't follow the rules they put up.
Firstly, threatening violence on someone in a video game is obviously legal, since killing someone's character in a video game is legal and is not considered violence or hate speech. Also the act of shooting someone in the head is actually possibly in Minecraft. Therefore there really was no legal justification in arresting him. In other words, in order to persecute this 4chan user, requires them to violate the spirit of the law in favor of the spirit of normie tyranny. In addition, it violates the concept of innocent until proven guilty since they have no way to prove that he intended to shoot someone in real life, since he clearly worded it as in video game. This is the real slippery slope since at that point it means that whatever upsets a normie is punishable.
This is the sort of precursor that leads to tyranny and the destruction of rational debate on the internet. Now every time you have a logical argument, if you make normies feel upset you'll have to risk punishment. The whole point of freedom of speech and the way they legal system worked was so that people could have logical arguments with each other, and find ways to change the way society worked.
Also they completely ignore the extreme calls to violence on social media such as Reddit. Subs like antiwork are full of death threats.
As a villain you'd think i shouldn't care about things like freedom of speech but, this is clearly an example of the self righteous normie tyranny.
