And a good number of them get sympathetic backstories or motives. Just look at how in ASOIAF/Gam of Thrones, the almost universally good looking Lannisters are treated compared to the explicitly ugly Ramsay and the almost always ugly Freys.there's a shitton of hot villians (though almost all of them turn out to be twist villains or women)
They dont even need a well written backstory, it could be something as childish as "the world is unjust so im gonna kill everyone waaaaa" and people are gonna say that he was rightAnd a good number of them get sympathetic backstories or motives. This. This is true for every show btw, and the thing is when a villian has a tragic backstory (which is often the case), his anger and hatred of society/other people/etc os portrayed as unjust and mistaken; if the hero has this anger, its always justifiedVery true, reminds me of the original Teen Titans show how the heroes were all decent looking and most villains were monsters or truecels
No hot male villians unless they are written for foid audience to goon over .there's a shitton of hot villians (though almost all of them turn out to be twist villains or women)
