I think Rock Lee is depressing, and even to an extent, blackpilling. He's not unattractive, but his genetics didn't help him at all, I will explain story for anyone who is interested in reading.
Rock Lee is from Naruto, an anime about ninjas who have this energy called Chakra which allows them to use "ninjutsu". Think of Chakra kind of like magic, you are able to use moves and do thing with it but requires magic stamina (chakra). The thing is, Rock Lee is unable to do ninjutsu at all, his chakra control is just not good enough. The requirement to become a genin/pass the academy to be a ninja is do a clone jutsu. So what did Rock Lee do? He trained harder than anyone else, literally pushed himself to collapse multiple times. He becomes genin, and goes on to do chunin exams, something a rank higher. There, he fights Sasuke Uchiha, one of the protags, a Chad with elite genetics which allows him to have special ability. Rock Lee destroys Sasuke, which was epic, showing that hard work beat talent, right? Nope, Sasuke was able to copy his speed within a month, which Rock Lee took years to do. Then the most brutal thing is Gaara vs Rock Lee. Rock Lee gave it his all, even used a forbidden technique that would hurt him but in exchange grant him great power, and he couldn't even get a scratch on gaara. Yet Sasuke hurt him, made him bleed.
