I've been playing Castlevania 4, Luigi's Mansion, and Fatal Frame. What are you playing, brothers?

I've been playing Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.

Currently playing "Doom: Eternal". I beat it a couple of days ago and now I'm trying to 100% it. I'll probably make a thread later.

After that, I'll probably start "Castlevania: Dominus Collection", which contains the 3 Castlevania games made for the Nintendo DS (Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia). I guess I have enough to play for the next couple of months.

I like the "Bloodstained" games.

There's "Curse of the Moon" 1 and 2 . These have pixel art graphics and linear level design. The game play is very old school similar to the early Castlevania games.

And then there's "Ritual of the Night", which is a metroidvania. I absolutely loved it.

I prefer the early Castlevania games to the newer post-SotN ones tbh

Yeah, they're fun. I was playing Castlevania 4 the other day but with save states; it becomes difficult half way through and I don't want to waste too much time dying over and over.

I can't stand using save states. I feel so horrible afterwards. There's no sense of accomplishment. I'm on level 9 as of now without them.

Those look good.

True. But I have beaten Castlevania 4 fair and square on the Nintendo back in the day. These days I just play older games to relax while listening to stuff on YouTube, so I'm not looking for a challenge.

That's understandable.

I might play the RE1 HD remake, Haven’t played in a while.
