The biggest elephant in the room with this cope is that to be a successful ugly guy, you almost have to go into STEM. Of course even STEM is being taken over by women nowadays, but I don't see it becoming a female field like nursing. Meanwhile normies can go into business, law, medicine, and ofc a whole host of middle class professions that are also implicitly exclusionary towards ugly men. Business and law have always been lookist but it's gotten worse over time. Medicine didn't really used to be a lookist field but has gotten way worse with the switch to female nursing that occurred around World War Two, and will likely get even worse as we see more women than men becoming doctors.

Believe me, I'm the last person on earth that would underestimate lookism. I've been called "horse face", made fun of for having a "big nose", told I "look like a caveman" told I "look like a school shooter" etc. There have been plenty of times where women instantly hated me before they could gauge how low my IQ was.

Like one time a good looking friend of mine tried to bring me to a party. He was told he could bring a friend but when we showed up at the door this girl opened the door and instantly said "EWWWW NO". My friend tried to convince her to let me in but she just kept going "EEEEEEW NO" like a 9 year old even though she was probably like 20 years old.

I could give plenty more examples, but the bottom line is I am 100 percent aware of my subhuman facial features and how they've adversely impacted my life, completely independent from IQ. To imply that I don't understand lookism or that I downplay it's significance in any way, is comparable to saying Karl Marx was supporter of capitalism or that @Clavicus Vile isn't a gooner.

I was arguing about the importance of looks back in the 2000s, long before "the blackpill" was a thing. I have a lifetime of experience with lookism. I've spent nearly all of the disposable income i've made in my entire life on cosmetic surgery. I've also gotten a hair transplant and I also use minoxidil, dutasteride, ketoconazole shampoo and oral spironolactone. Even on this forum there are people afraid of taking just finasteride due to fear of side effects, but I take all of these drugs because I understand the importance of looks above everything else.

Also, I fully realize that even if I had a 100+ IQ, I would still be a truecel. My only point is that if I had a much higher IQ, I'd likely have a better job, thus higher income, thus a more comfortable incel life. If I had the choice between being a 140 IQ sub5 or a 70 IQ pretty boy I would choose the latter without a moment of hesitation.

I'm so aware of the importance of looks that even when I DAYDREAM about having a gf, I also imagine magically being a turbo pretty boy.

But all that being said, you can still talk about one issue without downplaying another, even by implication.

It's impossible to even gauge your own IQ when you get treated so poorly. You can say that you would have a better job if you had a higher IQ, but you don't have a control version of yourself that didn't get treated like a subaltern freak. You can definitely say that if you had a 140+ elite programmer IQ you'd be able to have a good job but that is edging on slippery slope tier. So you're referring to yourself like you're some low IQ retard who works in fast food when It's entirely possible your intelligence is average and being treated like a subaltern freak has barred you from any of the other kind of specialization. I would say these issues are extremely strongly related. The more arrogant I become around writing my failures off to lookism, the more I notice I get what I want. This isn't just delusion either; it allowed me to get a stem degree. Of course that didn't result in me getting pussy, but it allowed me to get a reasonably specialized job with some independence.

In my experience interacting with ugly successful guys, a lot of them end up getting ugly girlfriends and adopting soy reddit mentality. I don't make nearly enough money to afford to have that mentality, but I think a lot of ugly guys with elite IQ like that become sort of pieces of shit who end up becoming snakes to incels since usually they themselves have been in cell adjacent but never fully incel. When you're talking about some stereotypical Jewish or pajeet subhuman from Giga patriarchal family who ends up working hard and becoming successful, usually there is some energy to these people's lives where they are properly socialized and never fully become avoidant probably in large part due to the self reinforcement loop of IQ. But still I think the trauma of lookism against men is slavery/genocide tier so an incel (and of course just highly traumatized people in general) can only have a rough approximation of where they would truly stand if they were treated like human beings.
