Society Messes People Up, I Feel Bad for Them

They are still responsible for their decisions, but I honestly feel bad.

Tonight I've been going through the profiles of people I know from high school and even middle school. They're adults now.

I see them at young ages in these profiles, enjoying life as they should. Friendships, innocuous joy, just genuine enjoyment of life.

Fast forward a few years, and they are alcoholics, drug abusers, sluts, etc. And they really don't seem happy at all. I have to say that is a common misconception on this forum: Believe me when I say they're not happy at all.

It is very saddening that our degenerate society encourages people to fall into all sorts of various pitfalls.

They're not happy but at the end of the day they have people to support them through their tough times and depression.

With a problem as socially taboo and poorly reflective of your percieved personality, the few of us with friends really have nobody to confide in.

Quality of Life is subjective, to an extent.

There are people who would die happy if they died raving in a club OD'd on Molly/MDMA.
Then there are people who want to live as a hermit on a farm and grow their own food.

One lifestyle is not necessarily better than another.

(But physical pleasures feel good regardless.)
