That's an aspect of "evolution" that people don't understand. Evolution is a blind process with no aim or goal. It's based on random mutation, some of which are good, some neutral, and some negative. People can't help but moralize completely immoral natural processes, otherwise they'll break under the sheer horror that is life on earth.
