Serious Society admits that being poor sucks. Why doesn't it admit that being short, bald, or ugly sucks?

Because if society tells men that they suck because of factors out of their control (facial aesthetics), that would break them. Society needs these ugly men to actively work and pay into the system, not sit at home depressed and lonely.

it would destroy hope even further. also although they believe poverty sucks a lot of people still think they can get out of it even though only 1% do. 99% of the world scrapes to get by or at best makes a good middle class living while working everyday forever. people believe the same about looks if you wear cologne and work out you can be chad too even though only a small percentage truly ever will. its like gambling no one thinks about losing even though thats all thats going to happen for the majority of people.

This. The truth is that most men are fucked through no fault of their own. There isn’t hope for a vast majority of men. How can they be expected to contribute to society when their contributions cannot be rewarded with anything of value? Strip down civilization to bare bones, and it’s just a system to get men to contribute to the tribe for the greater good, and be rewarded for their contributions with sexual access to females. Period. If a man knew he had no hope of ever getting a woman to love him, and had no hope of ever having a family to provide for, that’s a man with nothing to lose. That makes him extremely dangerous. Why even bother living at that point, let alone working? The whole point of survival is to stay alive so you can reproduce.
