For normies both male and female, the act of taking photos and showing them on your Instagram or Facebook is now more important than the experience itself. There does not exist a single reason I repeat there does not exist a single reason why anyone would take such photos unless they were looking for validation; validation about their looks, their life, their experiences. That is the only reason and no other possible reason could exist. In essence, vanity has swept our civilization to record proportions. Millions (even billions) of souls have been infected. We are living in dark times.

The girls where I live all expect you to have an Instagram profile that is 10 pages long that has photos of you vacationing to Milan and New York, photos of you at parties, photos of you with other Stacy's and Chad's, and you must have 500 followers at the very absolute minimum; the only exception is if you are extremely handsome, but even then, she will raise eyebrows if you lack social media profiles. It really is a backwards society.

You have to follow everyone else: watch the same movies, listen to the same music, behave the same way or you are swept aside.

Yeah, whenever I am in any social situation I am always on high alert. I just can't trust anyone. Even though I look laid back I'm ready to pounce, I sometimes go through ways of brutalising an opponent in my head, weak points, gorey details, if I was in a certain area, objects around me to use, if there was more than one attacker etc. I just can't switch that part of me off. When I'm left to my own devices I look on my phone, but if I am talking to people it basically remains away from me.. just seems rude to be fiddling with a phone when people are communicating. Plus it mega distracts you and allows hostiles to get in your defence.
