Good I guess? The original was fun, too bad that they aren't continuing the original storyline, but I don't see how they could've done that, the writers have really written themselves in the corner there. A reboot was definitely needed, and hopefully, they'll keep it episodic this time and won't add a rival character, because holy hell, was the decision to take it in that direction what absolutely buried season two.

Thai horror series from Netflix. It centers on a mysterious and apparently invincible supernatural being (described by the showrunners and other people involved as either the personification of karma or the daughter of Satan) moving from school to school and punishing bad people and wickedness in general. Nominally the character is based on Junji Ito's Tomie, but personally she reminds me much more of Enma Ai from Hell Girl.

The original series was an anthology which kept changing the directors for each episode, so the episodes all had different visual and storytelling styles, which was pretty neat. I hope this one will also have that.

Anybody here watched Girl from Nowhere?

I've binged the first season this week, it was pretty good ngl. The second one is five episodes shorter than the first, but the plot and worldbuilding go in a much different direction than what was in the first season, so I'm really not sure what to expect from that:feelssus::worryfeels...

Yup. If I remember right, so is the actress who played Yuri, the rival character introduced in the second season of the original show. I actually liked that character, but the change from a purely episodic show into one with a longer narrative and a rival for Nanno was the worst direction they could've taken.
