My roommate stacks his nail clippings, farts loudly and smells all the time

I am living in a tiny room in Slovakia with a gross man and it’s horrible. He is farting all the time very loud and without having any shame or any apology (I would not mind if we were close friends but we only say hello that’s all). Additionally, he smells a lot. When he enters the room, 5 sec after the whole room stinks.

This weekend, when I was cleaning the room (something he never did) I saw that this stinky ahh keeps his nail clippings under his desk, there is A LOT of clippings, I am really disgusted.

He also eats with his mouth open, doing an irritating noise.

Finally, the worst of all after being stinky, he is constantly in a “being the loudest man in earth” contest. I do so much effort to not do any noise when he is sleeping, but when I am sleeping: he takes phone calls and speaks very loud, he slams his closet doors, he farts very loud, he keeps the door open making the hallway light go directly into my face, he also slams very loud the hallway door.

I am really angry at him when he is waking me up each day at 5:30AM when I have only slept for 4 hours. I know that the solution is to talk to him, but he doesn’t want to listen, he says “ok I will do efforts” and just don’t change anything.

I don’t think I can contact the dormitory manager because they speak only Slovak (I am a foreigner) and it doesn’t seem like an issue that could get him out. I can’t either change room as the whole dormitory is full.

Thanks for reading I really needed to vent up. If you have any similar experience, be free to tell them.

I've had similar experiences in dorms in the USA for college. Getting your own room is such freedom. I hate everyone.

Yeah having a roommate is hell. Zero personal space, you just hate one another, no one wants to share a room. Even normies don't. It is a perpetual cycle of loathing one another but never admitting it and both of you wishing they had the room all for themselves.

Exactly. My advice is to get away as soon as possible to your own space. Ideally where you have a room, kitchen, bathroom all to yourself. Even living with housemates is a struggle.

Too unaffordable for most people. Living on your own is priviliged and honestly the best thing in the world.
Do whatever you want, anytime you want.
I am also stuck with a roommate who's a rotter, never goes out, but he's not gross. I just loathe the fact that I cant live on my own. Cannot do shit in peace when that nigga is 24/7 in the room.

@The Notorious SLAV stop making so much noise nigga be respectful

Yes, I'm also a smelly farter who reeks of alcohol, but I respect the sleep of other stinkers.

You're working here ?

what are you doing in slovakia lmao. also isn't the roommate a gypsy or half gypsy? they are the pajeets of europe, descendants of the untouchables.
