Simple, I don't feel tired in the evening at all. I literally can't sleep so I end up skipping one night > going to bed earlier that evening > sleeping 15 hours > I feel great.
I don't think humans are meant to 'force' themselves to sleep in nature, is it?

I don't sleep :feelsokman:

All the extra cortisol feels good every now and then, like I’ve been hit with a truck of caffeine

Every now and then I do feel like I've got more caffeine running through veins than blood

Every now and then its probably ok to do, but be careful to not make it a habit though.

Is 3 days in a row still within the safe zone or already crossing from green > yellow threshold?

It's definitely bad if you care about health but otherwise fuck it

I don’t have a clue tbh but im guessing no since 3 days in a row is alot

I care about health but 3 days cant be that bad if I go back to a normal routine immediately right?

I guess skipping is fun!

I skipped school and skipped grades and skipped questions....

And I skipped rocks too!

I skipped lots of milestones!

Yes it is. You will get so called "sleep debt". You have to go to bed at the exact time every night in order to be healthy. I go to sleep at 21:15PM, even on weekends now.

Our ancestors didn't have blue light exposure and the amount of dopamine we modern humans have access to, so they most often got 8 to 10 hrs of sleep and went to bed when it became dark outside. When you expose yourself to high dopamine activities right before bedtime, like watching netflix, news, gaming, porn etc. It will worsen your sleep alot.

Just don't skip into the road, trust me :feelsokman:

But I'm wide awake while I should have 'sleep debt' how is that possible? Slept 15 hours last night btw
Because you have high adrenaline or cortisol. You most likely drink coffee and spend time doing high dopamine activities 24/7. When i was gambling i could go for days with just 4 hrs of sleep, but i didn't realise how tired i actually was. Then anxiety hit like a bomb. Since you slept 15hrs it means you didn't sleep enough. Those 6 extra hrs you slept was also due to the sleep debt.

Interesting, and how long have you gone on the gambling streaks? Did it cause permanent physical or psychological damage or what? It's not like I only sleep for a couple of hours. I go to bed early in the evening and sleep easily for 14/15 hours .

I gambled for 1&½ year. Of course it made me feel like shit, but as long as i don't gamble i feel fine now.

14hrs seems very long. It means something is wrong, i don't know how your lifestyle is, if you take any medication, eats goyslop or w/e. 8-10hrs is enough for an adult.

I don't sleep for 14/15 hours when I'm on my normal sleep schedule, of course not.
I only sleep 15 hours when I skipped a night of sleep.
And I actually eat as clean as possible, I avoid processed food.
It's only that I have trouble with a messed up sleep schedule right now

Ok. As long as you're a NEET you will probably be fine. I wouldn't recommend it if you're a wageslave like me.

When I tried going without sleep, I would often doze off for short periods of time (every hour or so), so I don't get 15 hours of sleep on the day after. In this process, sometimes I feel more alert than usual, but more often I feel badly drowsy. Haven't tried doing that for 3 days though
