Serious Skin undertones are more important then skin colour.

If you have reddish/pinkish undertones, you can tan as much as you want, and will still look pinkish/reddish instead, of brown. This is why whites and many arabs don't look brown, when they tan unlike, Asians.



Asians on the other hand with their extremely sickly Yellow undertones, need to keep whitening their skin and avoid the sun, if not they become brown.

Tldr; pinkish/rosy red skin undertones are more important then skin colour.
