Civ 6 is really woke compared to earlier games

I think it’s pretty good. I liked 5’s civs better though. 5 was also a lot more streamlined whereas there’s a bit more overhead to maintaining an empire in 6. I prefer the no universal happiness change though in 6 though, among some others such as adding districts. It’s just a shame a wildcard Civ like Venice didn’t make it in, unless you count Kupe as such
yeah this if your NEET it is a good game but for wageslave or students wouldn't recommend it. They will find themselves addicted and spending hundreds of hours.

I too like strategy and thinking games.
Venice didn't make it in, however, they do have the Carthaginian Phoenicians in 6. Playing as Kupe is almost cheating in this game I swear, they get all the extra benefits of exploration upon the first turn or era. My only problem with Civ 6 is the Dark Ages, you can have a perfect game going where you're doing everything right and then your civ gets thrown into a civil war where you lose at least half if not all of your cities in the process, it's annoying. It's my only complaint against the game. City loyalty is another factor of annoyance.

There are very few female leaders that would actually be somewhat justified in this role. Almost all of them only got to be the ruler because their spouse died or there was no male heir, and they just ended up being figureheads.

I think I have over a hundred games I didn't install or play yet. I usually stick to playing the same three games every day.
curious about this game due to recent sale, though there's prob no rush since it seems to have regular sales, and you never know when Civ7 will come out
not sure how much I'll enjoy though, being based on real empires seems too normy

I don't know why I keep amassing this collection when my actual "worth money" games have surpassed 250 and I've only played about 5 of them.

It's FOMO that makes us buy those on sale games, because we think they won't go on sale for that low again, so we get them before it's too late.
I got it for free on Epic Games store a few months ago also I played it for a few hours and could not fucking stand the graphics/ui for some reason. Went straight back to playing civ 5 full DLC + loaded to the brim with mods.

I hate the graphics. Civilization 5 is better imo. But I ended up nuking all the other countries and slowly take over once the radiation poisoning went away
yeah but it's low IQ because I know how to check Steam DB and reailze they tend to do the same sales ever 2-3 months
the same % discounts will happen but the base price inevitably has to go up due to inflation so I guess that's what I figured

That seems like it's a good idea. If I get it I'll try that strategy. New players probably wouldn't think of the radiation poison after nuking a country.
Online games are the most valuable because you can't download them from torrent sites easily like offline games. I hope inflation doesn't raise the big sale prices to the point where they never match their previous amount, but usually on their big sales they always bring the prices to their all time lows.

believe it or not I still play civ 4 from years ago when i got it on discount. The onl ygame i have at all besides spider solitaire. Now i am gonna buy this civ 6
