it seems alright but 14 seasons is just way too fucking long for me. the longest serialized show I ever watched was Dexter (8 seasons) and that felt like forever.
i dropped it after a while ngl, like season 4 or so

I have been thinking about watching black lagoon for a while now.
Evangelion, code geass (especially code geass) this one may be controversial but attack on titan is pretty good too if you like action, all of them have good stories, last one’s ending is ass though. Again it’s very well known anime’s but it’s a good starting point I think
For comedy Nichijou, (maybe) lucky star if you don’t like the first 2 episodes drop it, this one may be unheard of (and it’s a spinoff but I think it is quite good, nothing like the main series, since the main series is a thriller) but Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management Blues, I don’t really think it’s neccessary to watch the main series (although I’d highly recommend it if you like thrillers, it’s called kaiji, underrated anime in the west, very well known in Japan)
if you like tragicomedy, I’d definitely recommend NHK, it’s also quite relatable in many ways id argue, apart from the delusional fantasies of getting the woman, if you end up liking this then I highly recommend the manga, it’s more realistic and tragic, quite different (if you like NHK, steins;gate would also be another recommendation, it’s quite different in terms of the plot, but the chemistry is very similar honestly)
