I dunno, like with your mother it may make them put the blame on you somehow. If you're close and he's pretty easy going and understanding it maybe alright though.

I guess if my dad was still alive, I'd feel more comfortable telling him than my mum as he may see it from my point of view and how more fucked up things are now. But I wouldn't count on it!
