Theory Should I shave beard or not

I have a beard with decent facial coverage that's gotten pretty long since I haven't been managing it

On one hand I think having a beard to mask my chin and lower face area improves my objective level of attractiveness and it's also nice not having to deal with it because I'm NEET and never leave my house anyway. But I'm going for more of a Patrick Bateman type of look with softer aesthetics and that's hard to do when you have extensive facial hair so I'm thinking about shaving it. It would also make my skincare routine more convenient
