Morrowind is also good, but kind of outdated for 2025. You may need some graphical mods to make it more bearable.

Ofc it was bad, Germans did everything better (including story too) in 2001 with Gothic 1, Americans with Dungeon Siege 1 of 2002 mogged hard stiffrowind completely, Nips even earlier with Parasite Eve 1 of 1998 had actual smooth combat with impactful animations unlike shittowind.

Yes but OpenMW is a must. It's a custom remake of the engine with many quality of life upgrades

Yes. But if this is your first Elder Scrolls game, I would suggest Skyrim. Morrowind is quite dated in mechanic.
