Cope Should I keep growing my patchy beard?

I havent shaved since sunday and now I have a little bit of a patchy beard, should I keep growing or do I just shave. It doesnt grow much on the sides and its patchy as fuck but its too early to tell and if I shave it now Ill never know.
How much time does a decent beard take to grow? I want to know at what point should i just give up with this patchy thing

my chin grows perfectly fine, its on the cheeks where its patchy, i can barely grow anything on the right side

i will be honest if it looks patchy and not full give up you just have bad facial hair. no one will look at you with beard envy.
