That depends on your life circumstances and current status. What's your career and employment status/history? What's your debt like? How mobile are you i.e., can you just get up and change locations at the drop of a hat without having to worry about anything back home? How physically and psychologically fit are you? What are you true motivations?
How old? Many armies have age cutoffs for enlisted infantry and warfighter roles. Most of them are under 40.

You will go from skinny subhuman (being fat is out of the question, just fucking forget it) to slightly more muscular and much fitter subhuman. Sure, learn how to shoot and use a rifle, basic hand-to-hand combat, and survival skills. It will give you more order and discipline in your life, if that's what you're lacking.
Then GTFO, before they cash in their checks with you and send you to a meat grinder to be cannon fodder.

Yeah, fair point. Most people are clueless about what to do with their lives, through no fault of their own.
If you want my advice, go to a martial arts gym and learn fighting that way. You will get fitter and build some muscle naturally through the training. Learn how to use a knife for self-defence too (use only as a last resort). If you want to learn skills like shooting, there are other avenues, but you need to have money and go to countries where you can get private training for that sort of thing, all the while evading being on a watch list by your host country's intelligence agencies. If you go to the US to learn how to use guns, then come back to China and get interrogated by security officers, it's off the slave camps for you.
Forget the guns, if you ask me. Too much trouble.
