Are there any significant discounts for specs like RAM, GPU or SSDs ? The prices for GPUs just keep rising and rising and i dont know if i should buy now before it potentially gets more expensive or wait for Black Friday

@Todd Thundercock

Idk, are GPU prieces getting worse? To me it seems the same since 2015. In 2015 I bought gtx 960 for like 320€. Just now, when I take a look at 5060 the price is almost the same and 5060Ti only a little bit more expensive. Compared to wages back then and now I guess it might be even a little bit cheaper? There should be Black friday soon with Winter sales after, I'd take a look now. The most expensive things on pc will be GPU and a CPU. If You manage to get some ok deals the rest is pretty cheap. Iirc pcpartpicker should have some price comparisons and sale tracker or something.

Avg price for a 3060 during lockdown was like $3000

you could e.g. try to compare the beginning price for 2080 TI and a 5090 TI
I get Your point You're making and You're right. But now serious question from my pov. Why would You buy 5090Ti if You aren't trying to run local AI center or some graphical programs? Like, is there really a game so good it warrants buying top tier GPU? I am not aware of any as a mainly paraslop and old game player. My main point was that 5060Ti is adequate to play any modern game and is enough futureproofed, not that much expensive from what GPUs used to be 10 years ago.

During lockdown everything went up drastically. Mainly because of stores wanting to take as much from those stimulus checks as possible and other times because of retarded scalpers and even more retarded normies who actually were buying. But, at least in here, it feels like it calmed down.

Wait till black Friday and pull the trigger. Computer part prices will only go up from here.

I'd normally say wait but prices of RAM and SSD are skyrocketing because of AI bullshit. Try getting RAM as cheap as you can now, the rest you can wait for deals.

Do they even ever go on sale? never seen GPU sales past 10% from loyal discounts and stuff
