ive always believed that hell is a place on earth. from a religious perspective, it makes sense. Hell is the absolute absence of God, when one looks at the state that the world is in we can conclude that God has long since left.
From an aethist perspective, hell would mean a place of incredible torment but not nesseccarily an afterlife. Hell would therefore be earth, an inescapable domain of pain.
