Throwaway for reasons that will become obvious: I’m an cis-woman actor on a TV show that premiered earlier this year. This has resulted in an increased level of online interest. I check my search analytics from time to time, and one of the features is a list of search inquiries connected to my name. Some of the trending search phrases are questions about if I am trans.
Still, I am experiencing gender discomfort, and shame around the gender discomfort for the aforementioned reasons, and the dredging up of old narratives and insecurities around beauty and femininity. I’m working on the biases I’ve internalized that lead me to see these search queries as anything but what they are: neutral.
Yikes sweaty you need thERapy trans women are women
Any guesses who this sheboon is?
