Cope serious tobacco smokers of the forum, need some advises-opinion et al

yesterday i was in shopping area of my city for getting usual sweets and so for the festivals time here;

i was passing by an old tobacco shop and saw quite a lot of smoking pipes shown there, pipes were made of both earthen clay and some sort of polished wood and had many varieties - like some had removable mouthpiece to clean and place tobacco filters before the sucker section and some had removable tobacco bin on them

i casually asked the guy there about prices and asking what kind of tobacco should go for smoking them and all but he was insisting that these are for ganja smokers and not tobacco...kind of made me question because some had 'tobacco pipe' written on their boxes...
perhaps they are used far more by "dude....weeeeeed" types nowadays than actual tobacco enjoyers here but whatever

so i couldn't get much info from the guy on counter about it, so thinking if someone from here can give an advise or two about the thing;
i've been smoking cigarette since at least 7 years now but i have never smoked raw-loose tobacco before and judging from the kind of brands or varieties available in market i guess the tobacco that goes in pipes is different from ones in most cigarettes...

The only pipe worth smoking is an expensive one that you save up for. Other types will clog, fall apart, get damaged easily, have hard to remove tobacco stains, etc.

So find a good one online and buy it.

I used to smoke cigars a lot and bought a pipe and pipe tobacco a few times. It's kinda nice, smells great. Like a cigar you don't inhale, you just make it billow, maybe blow some of it out of your nose. You just chill and relax, sit outside and smoke some pipe tobacco. I miss it. But it's nasty to clean up. You need to get wire brushes and clean it out all the time. Smells like shit when you get it indoors. I had keep it all of the stuff in ziplock bags or it would stink up the place.

Compared to smoking cigarettes it's not going to be the same experience. But if you were planning on quitting cigarettes, pipes might be an option to ween yourself off of them.

Vaping ecigs ultimately is better overall IMO. Not as much coughing, and you can vape indoors which is a huge advantage if you live in a cold climate.
