Alexander Bychkov, a resident of the Penza region, convicted of murdering nine people and nicknamed the Belinsky Chikatilo and the Chembar Ripper for this, became the hero of the documentary. He came out on one of the Internet platforms called "The Heart Eater. The case of the Penza maniac."
The film includes interviews with Bychkov himself, who is serving a life sentence in a penal colony in the Vologda region, his mother and the investigator who worked on the case, as well as relatives of the victims.
It is alleged that a few years ago, Bychkov had a wife, Kristina Varr, who is trying to extradite the convict to America so that he could be released. According to Bychkov's mother, they had a son.
