So I was reading the Bhagavad Gita in which lord Krishna told us that "selfless service is the to liberation". But how do I perform selfless service if all I get is hate from the world. What do we even do selfless service for?

it's not about getting paid. I mean obviously I need to get paid. I am currently working as an Intern at the Indian space research organization. But I'm just working for money. I can't envision myself not working for money because I have no hope for society

strong 30100th post

I thought you stayed celibate of your own accord judging by your other post :feelssus:

Matthew 5:43-4843 “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. ' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven.

“Boundless compassion for all living beings is the surest and most certain guarantee of pure moral conduct, and needs no casuistry. Whoever is filled with it will assuredly injure no one, do harm to no one, encroach on no man's rights; he will rather have regard for every one, forgive every one, help every one as far as he can, and all his actions will bear the stamp of justice and loving-kindness.”

- schopenhauer
the guy wasnt an inkwell but had an insane hatred of women, yet somehow still said things like that.
