The only thing I'm going to say is that I stood there on the sidewalk trying to catch any eye contact. Unfortunately, I didn't get any. But I will keep trying, you never know what might happen. It only takes a willing and well-meaning girl to cure a guy from this problem.

The funny thing is that there's a Japanese guy, my neighbor, who does the same thing. Coincidentally or not, I always see him standing on his lawn whenever the high school kids are done with their classes for the day. He's always right on time. He's in his 60s. He even has a grandkid.

Today was the first time that I looked at them explicitly ( looking for eye contact). Before that I used to pretend that I was doing something like checking the mailbox or cleaning the front lawn. The neighbors all joke about the old Asian guy though. But no one has ever called the cops or anything. The teen girls are always loud when they walk by. I doubt they notice anything.

True. I live in a cool neighborhood. There are so many things nearby: a mall, stores, skating rink, pizza shops, chinese food, japanese food.. but I have no one to go with me to those places. I just want a teenage girl to accompany me to those places.
