My mom always insisted me to because doctor since high school, she told me how doctors get respected more and the 6 figures they make. After learning from actual doctors and med students I found out that this path is a huge nerd slaving path, you'll have to study hard for the next 10 years straight to become a establish specialist or MD. I used to think like my mother after her indoctrination. Say no more, I'm leaving this. Can't imagine experiencing INCELDOM and also having to study 8+ hours a day excluding college

If I stayed in school and kept myself busy perhaps I would’ve been somewhat content wageslaving but I dropped out of school during the pandemic and ever since I developed severe anxiety problems that prevent me from functioning day to day. Sometimes I’m too anxious to go to the store, how the fuck could I stand to be at work the entire day
