Having your children believe in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy only for them to learn they're not real makes belief in God, who has as much credible evidence as Santa, questionable. This isn't a novel thought; many have expressed this idea, and even I expressed it as a kid. If you want your child to believe in Muh Jesus, then Santa isn't a good idea.

Overall good point in OP but I beg to differ that "God has as much credible evidence as Santa", I could go on and on showing you all the proofs.
But yes the worst thing is Santa is essentially a Pagan idol it's completely ridiculous.
