1 or 2 generations ago the Irish countryside was a poor place with large families living in small houses and the father had a job like farmer or factory worker. Now the countryside is full of large houses as many people have high tier careers. Families are very small now. It is a real mog fest when you are an unsuccessful man here. I think the people have turned to snobs too as they always hate on neets and look down on poor people. They forget that their grandfather's were peasants too.
