It's obvious that in order to keep from wanting to rope you need to stimulate yourself accordingly and while it varies from person to person. In general they're seems to be an agreement to what brings people joy. Now since in our case we don't have access to thing like love, relationships etc. We can only really substitute those things with other avenues or simulate them with our technology. I mean seriously with all the gadgets and gizmos we have in today's world it's easier then ever before to cope, we have things that guys from the past would have killed for. Honestly people, get yourself a big ass oled 4k ultra hd tv with a nice gaming setup and immerse yourself in the fantastical world of virtual reality. Smoke some cannabis to help you unwind after a long day, find out what releases your dopamine and focus on that. There's gotta be something out there for everyone that'll reignite their survival instincts. We live less then 100 years on average, it's nothing in the grand scheme of things. The cold truth is you really just gotta tough it out when shit isn't going your way and even if you never get a win at least you can rest easy knowing that you went down fighting and didn't give up even in the face of overwhelming odds. You may have to get in touch with your primitive side and just say fuck everything and everyone, because it's all about me now. We'll all have plenty of time to rest in the eternal slumber.

On the other hand, the fact that I wake up everyday is pointless. There is nothing to milk, only a measurement of how much bullshit each individual has to endure. I could wake up, spend another day LDARing alone, maybe fap, watch stuff on the internet, and think about how much of a failure I am as a person. Or I could just never wake up at all, it's not as if I have much to miss out on. I'm absolutely convinced that our universal craving for experience, consciousness, for life itself is an evolutionary feature to help ensure our continued survival, not because it makes any logical sense. The idea that anyone has more pleasure than they do discomfort or any form of suffering, even gigachad, is an almost unanimous miscalculation of the actual quality of our overall experience.

If you were to break your window, and then pay to finance it's repair, you wouldn't call that a gain in net value, right? Our lives aren't much different, the pleasure from satisfying an existing need is just a relief from suffering that we incorrectly label as positive value being created, when it's actually a return to neutral after some period of discomfort, which can be of extremely varying degrees of potency.

Roping makes sense, it's an end to suffering, an end to this joke of an existence. Problem is, I'm way too high inhib to rope without a very strong, pressing reason to do so.

I think I'd rope if I got a debilitating illness which reduced the quality of my life substantially. Like ALS and dementia combined.
