"How often do you think about muh Roman Empire" :soy:

Roman Empire is the normie's default ancient civilization to simp for. It's most likely because it's related to Christianity and we live in a judeocentric world. Jews view all white people as being descendants of Rome (because religious people are retarded) and the so called whites themselves have started to mirror this jewish talking point and thinking that we wuz romans and shieet.

What's so special about it though?? It was a good empire by all standards but it didn't produce anything that groundbreaking, they simply were just good at being an empire.

When we look at intellectual achievements, the previous greek civilization completely mogs them. Uhmayyad caliphate, Chinese dynastyes and the Sumerians were also better at science and inventing stuff than the Romans. The Greek achievements carried the Roman empire.

I agree. I find Mesopotamia/Sumeria much more interesting. The first big pp civilization after the Neolithic

:feelsokman: Sumerians are the OGs

The Romans are glorified because of their scale. They're an aesthetic ideal of an empire.

Second sentence and it's already reaching iq black hole

You know something called "latin script"? Are you aware you're wrote out your psued post with it? Rome's cultural influence is still relevant to this day. Its interesting and there's war and political intrigue and architecture. I can tell you haven't read any of it. Normies like it because it's so global and infuential and it's the only empire they know about. Scholars like it because it's a peak civilization.

Peak fan fiction. I can almost masturbate to it :feelskek::feelskek:

Says it's wrong but doesn't elaborate. Typical.

Are you one of those "we wuz joos" faggots?

Yes

I never said that it isn't, i said that it's overrated.

That's my point.

You said "what's so special about it". Is there a civilization that still writes with egyptian hieroglyphs, or something to the equivalent? Pax romana was a historical period that changed the entire world and who's influential millenniums after it ended.

Because the Romans had more territory and lasted longer. No other empire has had more influence on world history than the Roman Empire. But yeah their underachievement on the intellectual front must be acknowledged and the whites from all sorts of places far from Rome kanging on the Romans are retarded.
