When I was waiting there to be called in, another young man appeared with his mother and damn it, he really needed his mother.
That young kid was autistic AS FUCK. It honestly was soul crushing to experience this and know that it was way more over for him than it could ever be for me.
Like, even if we were to enslave foids and give him a foid of his own, he probably wouldn't understand what to do with it.
