Out of all the manga and anime I've seen I can say without a doubt Rize captures the Japanese aesthetic perfectly.
Just see for yourself.
* Perfectly straight hair
* Wide, narrow, angled eyes
* Angular lower third
* Wide slightly fattish flat pan face
* Glasses (Asian women usually have bad eye sight and need glasses)
* Almost nonexistent nose bridge and a nose that gets kind of wide towards the bottom
* Typical Japanese hair style (long and parted) and fashion (very conservative)
* Almost nonexistent eyebrows
I don't know why but this kind of aesthetic is rarely as perfectly captured in anime and manga as it is with Rize.
Even Ishida Sui who made Tokyo Ghoul (where Rize is from) has no other character in the manga that looks like her. And a lot of his characters look the same, especially the female ones, this one is especially unique.
A lot of idiots think anime characters are white/western and it is easy to make that mistake but when you have a character like Rize than it is clear for all that they are, in fact, Japanese.
Now the mommygf part.
@Leucosticte asked me what my 3D mommygf would look like and to send him a pic but I realized that Rize perfectly captures what she would look like.
A lot of people still don't understand what I mean by mommygf so I'll do a little explaining using visual media.

You need to have a fucked up relationship with your biological mother to truly desire/appreciate a mommygf.

Part of the desire is wanting to make the trauma go away / experience what you never had.
Also Kaneki is 18 years old when he first meets Rize but she is 19. A mommygf doesn't have to be what westerners would call MILF age (jukujo) but instead can only be a few years older.
