It isn't. The national socialists rejected private property as a sacred right, removed reactionaries and conservatives from government, were staunchly anti individualists and weren't secular. You can put them in centre left if anything.

Authoritarianism has no ideology. An absolute monarch is far right and authoritarian but so is a communist dictator who stands on the far left. Authoritarianism is just a method of hoe the state is organized in terms of power rather than anything ideological.

National Socialism is neither "right" nor "left." NS fights against the corrupting parliamentary system and the selfish individualism of the bourgeois right.
Why NS and not NC (national communism)? :O
