Yeah the wheat-rice geographical divide is fascinating. Not only does it affect physical aspects like stature, but it also influences how individualistic a society is (with the rice-growing ones being more collectivistic owing to rice farming requiring more extensive coordination). It's essentially why rice gooks are so meek and herd-minded. Rice-based cultures also tend to gravitate towards matriarchy (as rice cultivation tends to require much less physical strength than wheat cultivation, owing to foids having a greater role in the process). Insane how entire civilizational characters can be incumbent on merely the type of grass its inhabitants eat.

The contrast in SMV is particularly visible in countries where both wheat and rice have been eaten historically. For example India and China. In each of these countries, the northern, wheat-eating peoples tend to mog the fuck out of their southern, rice-eating counterparts.
