That what the mainstream demand for company to all ways increase graphics even through games like Fortnite don't have that type of graphics
I doubt any new RE game could live up to the old ones, I would never play any RE past 6.
They're intentionally making the foids "more realistic" (uglier) to draw in foid audiences. They made Ashely a hag in RE4 remake for the same reason.
Tbh I think Resident Evil games need to break away from focusing on the classic characters and just focus on horror. Not everything has to be this interconnected story.
It's scarier when it's a completely fresh character.

The only aspect I like is the monster that changes its behavior to seek out the player. Outside of that it looks like another Last of Us cinematic slop fest.

I was not impressed by this goyslop, which is sad to say as I really used to love RE.
It looks like typical cinematic slop as all modern games are. The gameplay demo convinced me NOT to buy this. Just another Hide-and-seek Horror game where you have to sneak past a big scary monster who is smart, "so cool". This monster doesn't even resemble any RE monster. The final game will probably have some resource management, but will likely be a smaller part of the gameplay since they didn't show any of that. Maybe this will be a walking sim.
I don't like the look of the protagonist either. She looks like a dyke because of that hair.
The setting didn't resemble RE either. Just another generic pitch-dark area which is sooo scary. Some areas remind me of Silent Hill, but of course much worse of course.
This doesn't deserve the title of RE at all. But normies don't get this; just the name RE makes their pussies tingle.

Sounds like they have made Fatal Frame but without attractive foid and with way more lame setting.
