Ngl bros, that was some serious wake up fuel. I don't watch football at all usually and don't enjoy it. I was actually a decent player as a kid but no one wanted me in their team. When the world cup was around, I didn't give a shit until I saw all the St Modricel memes. Then I started getting interested in watching the quarter finals and obviously and the Ricecel teams were destroyed by Chad teams. I had no other team to root for except or Modric's and it was lifefuel when he made he to the finals. But obviously, the being Tyrone in Europe pill meant that Modric would get destroyed in the finals.
But I still look fondly back at those times and being interested in sports for a brief period of time, it almost made me feel normal.
