My zoomer coworkers use the word and it doesn't make a lick of sense unless you word-filter incel to "bad man". They call Elon Musk an incel. They think anyone who watches Joe Rogan is an incel. They call any rude customers incels (as long as they're male).
"Incel" in 2025 is what the word "faggot" was in the 90s and early 2000s. The only difference is with calling someone an "incel" there's also moral grandstanding involved. But other than that it's used in the exact same vein.
