Because God doesn't give a shit about equality. He cares about a lot of things but equality isn't one of them.

God if he exists only does things to amuse himself. Either he likes watching us suffer, or he's actively wanting carnage for those that go ER.
Maybe we chose to become human or we were deceived that we would enjoy ourselves or we sinned in a previous life and it's our punishment.
