What did you do?

I changed the ingame textures client-side which counted as a modified game client. I didn't even realize that it would be bannable and I think it's ridiculous because I wasn't even cheating just customizing the look of my game.

Just gonna add that ive never been banned for hacking a game before, ever. I just never hack I dont care to, and there's a shit ton of games that let you retexture things with texture packs, etc. So getting banned for that is actually crazy, I think the unfairness is why it hurts me so much. pain. It also felt personal because it's such a small private server, the community/playerbase is like 100 players, with only like 10 online at a time, so the ban felt excessively rude and strict, its not like theres an automated ban system or anything which would feel less personal.
