JFL Rejected from a cashier job for minimum wage

I was called in for an interview to get a job at minimum wage (federal minimum wage, pretty damn low). I didn't even want it, I just was trying to spur my life forward.

But I can't even get that, I'm lower to society than a 16 year old getting his first job. No doubt the deciding factor was my ugliness after I came in for the interview. Don't you love when you attempt to try new things and the world shuts you down in response?

I don't have a degree, but I have credits from about 3 years of college, which I think would have been worth something. But maybe I was competing with people with degrees

You can easily prevent that, by not wearing it.

You can prevent both points at the same time. The best thing to do is to make some notes one day before the interview will take place. You can even bring those notes with you to the interview, take out your tablet with some well-elaborated questions. It also shows that you are interested in it. This is what I am doing.

It went smoothly IMO, but I didn't try and dress nice or anything. I didn't want to look like too much of a cuck begging for a $7.25 job. Ah well.

That sucks man. Interviews are all about bullshitting them with all the things they want to hear. Your a team player, self motivated, good custom service skills, all that pish. Being super enthusiastic about this shitty minimum wage job is hard but you need to jump through the hoops. We're all wage slaves until we manage (if ever) to break the system.
