Normies always see the nose, it's like the only thing they notice... fucked up teeth, narrow palates, recessed jaws, 404 cheekbones, long-ass philtrums all fly under the radar with them, but have a fucked up nose and you're a automatic uggo in their eyes.

But then again the boy in our class had a deformed boxer nose, yet had a decent eye area, nice smile and high cheekbones, needlessly to say he was considered attractive by some gl girls, and even got more attention from them unlike low-tier normies with unoffensive noses.

Is this a cultural thing?

I mentioned in another thread Every negative trait as a male is positive on a female which is very true although I think a big nose is one if not the only trait that very ruin female´s SMV of course men will still want to fuck them and orbit them but you can´t deny a big nose like the girl has in the picture doesn´t take her down a few PLS points just by the nose alone it´s a too masculine feature on their face that is hard to ignore.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that there are a few chromosomal anomalies that directly express into specific, weird nose shapes.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was related.

IMO this is not that bad. Noses that change direction just once look ok most of the time. It's way worse if it's like a curve.

As long as the nose isn't crooked, deformed or overtly large it should be okay. There are ideal noses for males. Considering more body mass and a higher need for oxygen intake the male nose is larger than that of a female but the ideal is just average size. Generally you can get away with a 'roman nose' although this is sometimes caused by having craniofacial dystrophy and is seen as bad. The male nose should have a more 'pointed tip' that is at an angle of 90° whereas the ideal female nose is slightly upturned, I forget the exact degrees. People with African or East Asian decent are more likely to have bulbous nose tips and the more Caucasian thinner nose is more ideal in terms of facial asthetics. Above all it should fit with the face, facial harmony is the most important in assessing facial aesthetics.

If you have a horrible nose, since it's the centre of the face, it will ruin everything else and crowd out any redeeming features you actually have. It ruins the profile (side view) of your face totally, especially if it's rounded/bulbous.

Earlier this year I was ready for a rhinoplasty but instead had to give the 5k I saved up to my parents so we could buy a new car. Still saving up at the moment but I'm sure something else will come along that will drain my money away once again.

It's definitely important. My nose looks awful from my side profile and brings my overall looks rating right down. When I look at myself in the mirror, face on, I honestly don't think I look bad - then I see myself from the side with my enormous, crooked nose exposed in all its glory, and it hits home.
