I don't know you'd ever want to create a reddit account but you can ban evade by clearing your cookies and changing your IP, if you can change your IP through the method of turning it off for 10 minutes then you have a static IP and the only way to change it is to get a new router which is easy because all of you have to do is call your internet provider and say your router isn't working properly.

Used to AI generate stories to post on r/amitheasshole for laughs, I think they cracked down on that tho. Mobile IPs work for pretty much everything and are ban-proof

I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure they HWID ban + a whole other sleuth of methods to catch ban evaders. It used to be easier to ban evade there but in 2025 its gotten fucking ridiculous. First of all never use the Reddit app. Also using public VPNs with shared IPs that have been used and abused by people before won’t work either.
The only sure-fire method I’ve seen of ban evading there is getting a static residential proxy + using an anti-detect browser. Or use a new device and sign up with new credentials and make sure there’s absolutely no way for them to trace you to your previous account (new email, different username, new IP, etc). Also, if you have apple products, I’m pretty sure you need a new apple ID too because they share information.
Again, I could be wrong because this is just what I’ve gathered from various posts I’ve read. You’re better off asking the people on black hat forums because they need reliable ways of ban evading to make a living.

I was permanently banned from there many years ago. I could probably re-register since my devices have changed since then, but honestly, why bother? Their system actively suppresses comments that aren't supported by the majority, making it simply a platform for circle jerking.
