In Chapter 4, Neil recounts Mystery's Chad advice

"One of three things, if she says 'Yes,' which is very rare, you kiss her. If she says 'Maybe,' or hesitates then you say 'Let's find out,' and kiss her."
You would get fucking arrested and charged if you did this in today's age. It was wrong then, but was perhaps more permissible because this was before the eras of Instagram and TikTok and women's incredibly inflated egos and SJWs and #MeToo. This was an era more connected to the 1990s than the iPhone and Twitter.
Jack Denmo is rotting in a prison cell this year and the next two because of what some roastie said with no evidence whatsoever. More pertinently, do you all remember that nineteen year old guy that got persecuted after Googled "how to make a friend" and he touched a woman's arm. That was a story from 2019, so there is a chronology. It is getting worse every day whether you recognize it or not.
About the book. I must praise Neil for he is a compelling writer despite that the premise and the promises of the book are so incredibly deluded. I would recommend The Game, because it's quite funny and captures the origins of many of the words we use. For example, it was Mystery who coined IOI.
About Neil's life... well he's old and divorced now. That child is growing up in a broken home.
