Rate names for fictional weapons

One would be called "the Impaler", named after Vlad III the Impaler, the Wallachian prince who fought the Turkish Ottoman Muslims to defend Europe and Christianity.

The other would be named "the Blood Countess", which was the nickname of Elizabeth Bathory, a Hungarian noblewoman and the most prolific foid serial killer of all time.

I'd fought i'd name them after Sobriquets, epithets and nicknames of famous European historical figures.
Not only to preserve European history, culture and identity, but also because some of them sound pretty metal too.

The impaler is kind of basic, like naming something the stabber. Maybe just name it Vlad and people will get the reference

I doubt it, considering most Europeans don't even know their own history now.
The boomer ones would, but not gen Z or Z Alpha
