Rate my fear

I have a fear of heights.
I literally feel uncomfortable when I see videos of skyscrapers in new York being built, or anything related to 9/11.

In fact, the construction workers who were building those skyscrapers would even eat their lunch and sleep on steel beams, suspended hundreds of feet above the ground.
One wrong move, and they'll be getting a one way ticket to the shadow realm.
Even the photographers would be positioned on these beams, the same ones literally hanging hundreds of feet in the air.

Seriously makes me wonder how the fuck these guys could build these buildings with no fear of falling to their death.

But yeah, who else here fears heights?

I also heard Frank miller used to go to the top of the empire state building and sit on the edge to draw the new York skyline, and this was before they installed safety rails

What rational person doesn’t? Skydivers, cliff jumpers, etc who have died were taken out by natural selection. You’re not supposed to be brave when you’re too high in the air, fear protects.

They say fear is the mind killer, and it kinda of is, but it's also your brains way at keeping you alive

I suppose it depends. Many things people have anxiety about nowadays don’t matter, but avoiding falling to your death or being mauled by an animal certainly does. Same goes for fighting another human.

I would say I'm probably scared of people sneaking up on me I'm extremely paranoid
