On a 1-5 scale I would say 3/5, so average.

Where I live people ~1/3 of people in your age group are either obese or very overweight.
Of the remaining 2/3, many have extra weight, and a small portion are muscular.

You get +1 for being lean, but -1 for having less mass.

I know it's not fair that average people have a mass advantage for not having a lean physique, but it is what it is.

I give it a 3/5 as well. I see the work. Just keep at it and you'll be toned. One of my friends in a body builder and he said the thinner you are the quicker you'll see the results (not that you're Ethiopian skinny )

Since it's your first year you'll probably put on a lot.

Ok, good start. Genrally a good start for most if they're committed. That's when you see the most improvement. Takes longer to see results from this point on. Keep at it though.
