Im playing Shadow of the Tomb Rider rn (cucked cause Lara Croft would be disgusted by me) and Im amazed from a bridge contraption I had to activate to walk through the next stage of the game. At the same time, I understand how low my intuition and engineering ability is like I couldn’t develop a single mechanism or system with rudimentary tools for survival, I wouldn’t be able to “homo sapiens” my way out of trouble if I was removed from comfort. Im the contrary of an handy man. When my father asks for help in any sort of thing I just act as a retarded aspie ameba floating around cause I don’t understand shit.

It’s over.

You don't need to reinvent the wheel at every step/turn of the way. If you want to learn how to. Its not your fault, that you can't reinvent modern society from sticks and stones. Society was built on the collective accumulation of logic and knowledge.

You just have to take interest in mechanical things. Design, prototyping, repair etc all need to be researched and practiced by people for them to become knowledgeable. Nobody is born a mechanical genius.
