How bad mixedcels have it compared to full blown deathnics ?
I was gonna open this thread earlier but my racepill folder is a mess, took me a while to find the pdf.
Not gonna lie, I was thinking one drop rule would reign supreme in the dating world. but evidence says otherwise. It is more of "Just be white passing" than "Just be white".
This is a 2015 study from University of Massachusetts, published in American Sociological Review.
Positioning Multiraciality in Cyberspace: Treatment of Multiracial Daters in an Online Dating Website
"Using data from one of the largest dating websites in the United States, we examine how monoracial daters respond to initial messages sent by multiracial daters with various White/non-White racial and ethnic makeups.
We test four different theories: hypodescent, multiracial in-betweenness, White equivalence, and what we call a multiracial dividend effect.
Drawing on key points from the literature, which revolve around theories of hypodescent, multiracial in-betweenness, White equivalence, and what we call a multiracial dividend effect, we propose several hypotheses predicting how online daters will respond to multiracial individuals.
Hypodescent theory (also known as the “one-drop rule”)
Hypothesis 1: Hypodescent, or the one-drop rule, occurs if monoracial daters of any race treat a White-minority just as they do other same-minority monoracial daters.
Multiraciality In-Betweenness
Hypothesis 2: In-betweenness occurs if Whiteminority daters occupy an interstitial space. In such a scenario, White-minority daters might be treated below White status, yet preferred above their minority co-ethnic status
In contrast to theories of hypodescent, some scholars posit that the White/non-White divide is being eclipsed by a new racial hierarchy. Certain groups—specifically,multiracials and lighter-skinned, higher-class Asians and Hispanics—are positioned as an interstitial category in the U.S. status hierarchy, serving as an in-between group.
White Equivalence
Hypothesis 3: White equivalence occurs when monoracial daters treat White-minority daters exactly as they do White daters.
However, this process may vary by individuals’ specific multiracial makeup, this work suggests that “Whiteness” is more accessible to Hispanic and Asian multiracials than to Black multiracials. (it is over)
Multiracial Dividend Effect
Hypothesis 4: The multiracial dividend effect is an acutely gendered effect that occurs if multiracial women are preferred above White and non-White women in online dating.
We stress that, as opposed to previous hypotheses, most of the literature suggests this dividend applies more to women than to men.
Gendered Multiraciality
We therefore expect to find a racial hierarchy in the economy of desirability by Whites, with Asian and Hispanic multiracials either afforded a heightened status or treated as equivalent to Whites. This may mean either that Black-White multiracials are more subject to hypodescent than other multiracials, or that they are less likely to be treated similarly to Whites, occupying an in-between status. We suspect there may also be a gendered intersectional effect within this hierarchy, with dividend and White equivalence effects applying more to multiracial Asian women than to multiracial Asian men.
Results:

Looking first at the reciprocal patterns of White women, we see that they primarily respond to White men and exclude all monoracial minority men. But the figure shows that they do indicate a willingness to respond to Asian-White, Hispanic-White, and, to some extent, Black-White multiracial men; when considering multiracials, the dividing line for White women in online dating is no longer drawn between White and non-White daters. Instead, White women treat Black-White and Hispanic-White multiracial men as an in-between group and display equivalent treatment of Asian-White multiracials and White daters.
Lin and Lundquist (2013) find that White women are the most discriminatory in their response patterns toward non-White monoracial daters, but we find that in the case of multiracial daters, White women indicate a willingness to respond to multiracial daters, although this willingness varies. White women are equally likely to respond to AsianWhite and White men; exclude Asian, Hispanic, and Black men; and treat Black-White and Hispanic-White men as an in-between group.

Our findings show no support for the theory of hypodescent as an operating determinant in online dating. Instead, we find that all White/non-White self-identified multiracial daters receive a preference premium by monoracial daters compared to their monoracial minority counterparts; however, we find important racial subgroup variation. Asian-White daters are afforded a heightened status in online dating by Whites, whereas Black-White daters are treated as anin-between group.

I have a couple experiments showing bi-racial faces being more attractive but those studes arent as good cos they are not based on actual RESPONSE rates from women. Women lie even in their sleep. When they start swiping in private, they are more racist than your average skinhead PEGIDA protester.
Okcupids data also shows having some white genes in you increases your perceived attractiveness significantly.
To sum it up, for mixedcels it comes down to what kinda mix and how white passing you are. If you are half white, u are MUCH better off than ur monoracial full ethnic peers.

"One interesting thing about OkCupid’s interface is that we allow people to select more than one race, so you can actually look at people who’ve combined “white” with another racial description. Adding “whiteness” always helps your rating! In fact it goes a long way towards undoing any bias against you."
To sum it up, for mixedcels it comes down to what kinda mix and how white passing you are. If you are half white, u are MUCH better off than ur monoracial full ethnic peers.
